Washington-Ireland Program

In January 2007, two WIP Alums traveled to South Africa to join with the two original 2006 SAWIP alums to grow the program. Read their story here through their joint Web Journal.

In March 2007, the WIP Board of Directors approved a second pilot scheme to bring four South Africans to Washington, DC to participate with the WIP 2007 class. This will give both our Irish and Northern Irish, and South African students a chance to work together, share experiences and develop a mutual understanding of each other that will foster new links and transcend borders and continents.
