Here are some facts to keep in mind...


Applications for 2007 will open the first week of December 2006.

Your application must be submitted in Microsoft Word.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your application is submitted completely and correctly, and also succinctly. Verbosity will not be rewarded!


As you will discover, this year's Application form 2007 is not brief. It is 14 pages long and requires a whole lot of work. So we recommend that you do not leave it to the last minute. Download a copy early and start working on a draft. This document requires MS Word.

Get Adobe ReaderYou will also discover a second Instruction Document 2007 that explains the Application form and gives you all the important information that you need. Be sure to read it in full BEFORE you fill in the application. This document requires Adobe Reader.

WIP will email you a response to let you know that your application has been received. If you don't receive that confirmation, please email us a query to make sure. Sometimes, there are technical hitches.


Successful applicants will be notified of interview dates in early March 2007.


Interviews will be conducted between March 19th and March 28th, 2007.

How to Apply in 5 easy steps:

  1. Click WIPApplication2007.doc  and WIPApplication-Instructions2007.pdf to DOWNLOAD and SAVE these files on your computer. (If you have difficulties downloading the Application or Instruction files, please email .)

  2. OPEN the Instructions.pdf on your computer and BE SURE TO CAREFULLY READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS.

  3. OPEN the WIPApplication.doc and FILL IT OUT.

  4. When you have finished, use SAVE AS to save the file and be sure to use YOUR OWN NAME in the file name with family name first followed by your first name (no space), as in SmithMary.WIP2007.doc. NOTE: failure to name your file using your own name could result in misidentification of your file.

  5. EMAIL your completed MS Word application file AS AN ATTACHMENT to ; Subject: [YourLastName, YourFirstName] WIP Application. Be sure to use an email address where we can always reach you. This is where we will send confirmation that we received your application and any future information.
