prepare young people to become effective leaders in a changing world, we
must prepare them to lead in a global context. No longer can leaders act
in isolation, nor in ignorance of their policy's effect on world affairs.
Therefore, through the unique portal that this web site provides, we are
reaching out to other young people to join in the conversation, and to
follow the program participants in their journey. We hope to recruit virtual
members of the team in other parts of Europe such as Romania and Croatia,
and in Asia and the Pacific. If you log on to the pages and get interested
in becoming a global ally of the program, send us an email by filling out
the form below. Tell us the reasons
you would like to become a part of the Washington-Irelands global alliance
outreach. If you are successful, we will offer you a web journal function
where you can become an audience to the web journals of the
WIP team of 2003;
and they in turn can become an audience to your experience and witness your
own aspirations to lead, and to make a difference to your world. We look
